My husband enjoyed a superb breakfast while I missed out due to feeling unwell. The hotel was nicely situated with a lovely garden view from our Standard Twin Room.

There was nothing I didn't like.

the hartnoll is in a great spot, with easy access to the M5 and Exmoor. our double room was very comfortable and well equipped. the highlight was the head waiter – he made our dining experience truly special! we enjoyed a delightful meal at the restaurant and the hot stone massage at the spa was incredibly relaxing.

It was a commendable fit for resting at all in Tiverton with good price-quality ratio. Breakfasts had solid eggs, but were consistently served quickly. If you prefer a nicer stay, look for places with decent amenities.

Unfortunately, the shower in our room was scalding hot and hard to adjust, which was quite inconvenient. it put a slight damper on an otherwise great stay.

More shaded areas for seating would be nice.

Fantastic stay with beautiful grounds

I had an amazing one-night stay in a cozy twin room. The gardens were absolutely stunning and provided a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my visit memorable. I found the room to be a bit tight for two people, especially with limited seating available.

The dining experience was memorable, just the right amount of attention from the staff and the venison was cooked to perfection. Plus, I can't forget how they treated us like royalty when we celebrated my anniversary, balloons and prosecco waiting for us.

It wasn't inexpensive, but worth it for the experience.
